What an amazing time we had in April....playing games, planting flowers to take home. While having all of this fun, we worked on literacy, self-expression, socialization, turn-taking, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, behavioral issues and functional skills.
Kids 9-13, bring a friend from school in May, we have a very special Kids Club!
We have a group joining us - it will be a big party! Don't miss out on the fun!!! We are asking that each family bring a package of juice boxes on this date.

Communication Development Seminar
Tuesday, April 12 7:30pm Lora White returns to the Hoffman Playhouse! She'll discuss: the primary concerns impacting the oral motor, feeding and communication development of the young child (birth to age 5) with Down syndrome. specific language learning concerns and strategies to improve language development home based activities to promote communication, speech and language development There will be an informal Q & A time to discuss individual concerns. Kids Club - another fun visitor!
Kids Club enjoyed a visit from Sandy, the therapy dog! She is a great listener when we read books, and we asked her owner a lot of questions about her. We enjoyed some fun creative movement activities like limbo, played games, and had a blast!
